I ordered this lens directly from Olympus, when it arrived I immediately took it out for a try. It looks a bit awkward on my Em-5 and a little heavy. Definitely need a tripod for this lens especialy when reaching out to the full focal length.

I like how I can now get closeups of birds and animals that I was not able to get with the 40-150mm lens. This is much bulkier, but it is worth it. The pictures are sharp as the OMD stabilization system makes a big difference.

Easy To Use; Large Zoom Length

This lens has remarkable reach and produces excellent results for its price. It is very enjoyable to use, but I can no longer hand hold it at the long, 300mm, end, which is equivalent to 450mm on APS-C, 600mm on full frame! I highly recommend it.

First I am using it on the OMD E-M5 and the lens is one of only 2 options in the native micro four thirds mount, so if you are shooting a Panasonic body buy the Panasonic with OIS. Used this lens for just under a month to use om my EM10-II and found anything above 175mm is just too soft. So I returned it.
