Bought my last DECT phone from JL five years ago and only now beginning to fail, despite new batteries fitted - LCD screen is losing its light as well as keypad slow as ever - replacement had to be sought and naturally at John Lewis, I looked at alternatives.

I bought this model for the lounge after being so pleased with the Panasonic model with the answering machine, which I bought for the Kitchen. Both have been good purchases and I would recommend them to anyone!

Phone directory is held in base station so can't use if you have to link to a different base station although you can use the shortcut keys.

Is going to take a month to get it going so don't start using this the week before spring break. Works like a champ on legs and underarms. Feels like tiny puppies are biting you...but way better than wax any day and less mess.

The worst piece I have ever received from Amazon. I wish there was a 0.5 star. As someone else mentioned, it is an used piece with so much of dust and scratches and is Made in China. China is ok.. but to my sheer surprise, I found some Arabic script instead of English or hindi on the product.

Needed to replace my landline but as it doesn't get much use these days due to everyone in our household having mobile phones, I didn't want to spend a fortune. Just wanted a basic phone without an answerphone but with a substantial phone book. This phone fits the bill perfectly.

this was a replacement to the previous Panasonic I had for more then 18 years . Only bought this new version as a treat ,as the old one was never going to break and was still going strong
