There is a new Samsung phone rumored to come next month and it will be the Samsung Galaxy A5. The specifications and photos, both have been leaked. It might not be a 100% correct but it will be fairly accurate. Samsung Galaxy A5 might come with a 5.2 inch 720p SUPER AMOLED display.

When Samsung first announced that they were discontinuing the GALAXY Alpha , we weren't quite sure what to feel. Though flawed, the Alpha proved that if they wanted to, Samsung can make a premium high-end phone with a metallic frame, which was something many of their fans were yearning for after...

Samsung, which has never had any shortage of models available in the market at any given time, has launched a new assault on the mid-range segment. The new Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 slot in alongside the new Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7, and many of the features of the two new lines overlap.

Good; Good design; Great cameras; Lightweight

Bad; Expensive; Battery life could have been better

[Review] Samsung GALAXY A5: Stylish in metal

You've seen my exclusive hands-on first look of the Samsung GALAXY A5 (well, at least I hope you did) so here's a more in depth look at Samsung's new metal-clad premium midrange smartphone. The 5-inch Android-powered number is certainly a good looker and feels the part too. Read on.

Beautiful design; Ultrathin; Good material build quality; Good camera; MicroSD expansion

Mid-range specs; Battery could be bigger; Slightly pricey for its specs

Samsung Galaxy A5 and A5 Duos review: Five star

Samsung's newly found love for "premium build" is spilling down the ranks and if the new A-series get half the love and attention the S-line has been getting, it will be a job well done. The South Koreans are right to try and stir things up in the midrange to turn declining profits around.

Both Single SIM and Dual SIM models come LTE-equipped on many markets (Cat; 4 LTE 150/50Mbps, 5" Super AMOLED of 1280 x 720px resolution, ~294ppi, All-metal body with premium matte finish and low 123g weight, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit chipset, quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53 processor, 2GB of RAM,...

Snapdragon 410 is more befitting cheaper; lower midrange devices; It's comparatively pricey for the hardware features offered; On the Dual-SIM version you can't have both a secondary SIM and microSD card inside; Battery is non-removable

Samsung's full metal unibody smartphone – the Galaxy A5, is finally coming to Malaysia. The Galaxy A5 packs mid-range specs under a 5" HD Super AMOLED display, encased in a sleek and slim metal body.

Samsung started changing its track from polycarbonate build, changed its usual design language and finally launched the Galaxy Alpha smartphone with metal chassis, but it still had a plastic back panel.

Brilliant display; Good design and solid build quality; Good camera

Hybrid dual SIM might not be useful for everyone; Metal back is prone to scratches; Slightly on the expensive side

Samsung Galaxy A5 is 5 inch super AMOLED display device having 1280 x 720 (HD) pixel resolution with 294 ppi pixel density. It is running on Kitkat OS. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor along with 2GB RAM. With rear 13MP camera and front camera of 5MP, it looks amazing.

Stylish look; Great performance; Good battery support

Expensive; No Lollipop OS; Only Nano-SIM

Samsung Galaxy A5 Review

Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy Alpha , the first high-end smartphone in their range with a part-metal body. The handset was a good, yet flawed step forward for the company, failing to live up to its premium price tag from a hardware and battery life standpoint.

Excellent build quality; Great display and camera; Snapdragon 410 is a modest, powerful enough upgrade

This mid-range handset is at least $100 too expensive; No Android 5.0 upgrade just yet
