Decided to get a decent drive after I had other makes/models fail after a few years. This drive is fast for what it is and is built for the hard yards. Big reads/writes is slightly more noisier but it wasn't really made for the desktop side of things - it is a server storage drive after all.

Really happy with these drives, I use them as a back up for film video files and writing to them is pretty quick for a 7200 rpm hard drive. 100GB in around 10 minutes usually. Early days, but would buy again.
