Solid Drive

I have bought 4 or 5 of these now, and I keep coming back to it because of its price. It offers faster performance than a standard HDD (about 2x as fast in my experience), and still has quite a bit of storage space.

The Seagate FireCuda 2.5″ 2TB SSHD can be found at Amazon UK for £103.05 and Amazon US for $109.79 at the time of writing. Hybrid drives such as the Seagate FireCuda 2TB 2.5-inch SSHD can be tricky drives to review.

I run two in my setup and the drive is perfect for gaming and or large files. If you just want good storage and can't justify an SSD due to capacity of the current ssd's than this SSHD is certainly the way to go.

Fast performance, 2.5" size allows you to mount vertical easily in SSD bracket/mounts; You can YouTube videos on boot with a comparison of this side by side with an SSD and HDD booting up, and this guy performed well

Best value is when it's on sale like now under $140; Cheaper even better but essentially no cons to note yet; Can run warm at 40-45 C and I've very mounted 2 side x side on the back of an Enthoo Evolv ATX glass
