I run two in my setup and the drive is perfect for gaming and or large files. If you just want good storage and can't justify an SSD due to capacity of the current ssd's than this SSHD is certainly the way to go.

Fast performance, 2.5" size allows you to mount vertical easily in SSD bracket/mounts; You can YouTube videos on boot with a comparison of this side by side with an SSD and HDD booting up, and this guy performed well

Best value is when it's on sale like now under $140; Cheaper even better but essentially no cons to note yet; Can run warm at 40-45 C and I've very mounted 2 side x side on the back of an Enthoo Evolv ATX glass

I have bought 4 or 5 of these now, and I keep coming back to it because of its price. It offers faster performance than a standard HDD (about 2x as fast in my experience), and still has quite a bit of storage space.

Give good performance leverage over conventional harddisk, and is a good cost-size balance. I also purchased SSD for higher speed upgrade from Novatech in earlier occassions.

Thought this would be a good drive but it died in less than a week. I have other Seagate Ironwolves and Barracuda's which I have never had a problem. At least Seagate Tech Support was good and we are swapping out for a new drive.

usually, stop working after 3-4 month; in my case from 10 drives - 3 stopped working in 4 months. Some time problem with Hybrid on this hard drive; some files can disappear suddenly

Bought to house in an external USB case and plug into a PlayStation 4 as an extra drive. After copying a game from the main drive to this I found games loaded up in 30 seconds that used to take over a minute. Of course this is noticed only after the second time of use, since the SSD part has cached.

I bought this drive to compliment the storage I already have and so that I'm not cycling my game library so much. Went for this because it was Seagate's "top of the line" mechanical drive as a hybrid mechanical/SSD, though having to buy it in 2.5 inch format since that was the one bay I had...

It's a great value drive for the money. I needed a large drive for my Steam games, simply had an issue having to reinstall different games as I wanted to play them. This is a perfect drive for your games library.
