I will never know if this hard disk is as great as they say it is. Sadly the Macbook Pro I want to install it in supports up to SATA II and Seagate in their wisdom have configured this drive so it is not backwards compatible and will only work with a SATA III controller.

Hard drive is definitely quicker. Used to upgrade ps4 drive and games now load noticeably faster. Reasonably priced for a quality hard drive. Look no further
