Word of warning - my lens was purchased from Amazon UK, unfortunately the serial number is not an official UK import so it does not qualify for a UK warranty according to Sigma, sadly l have had to return it for a refund, a shame as it's a great little lens - very happy with the photos taken.

Great for the price!

Was looking for a lens like this for a while. When I saw this lens on the internet, I did some research and decided to buy it. It is now my main lens for everything from landscapes to portraits. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the focusing motor is noisy for videos.

You might think this is the lens to get, and you might be right. It gets lots of great praise across the internet, so why not get it It comes in the mail and you love it, works like a charm and produces great pictures.... oh wait, whats that Why is the right side so blurry

Cheap; Has OS that works pretty well; Seems like a good copy would be very sharp; has switches on the body to turn off OS and AF

Lens comes included with terrible QC, good luck getting a copy that isn\'t decentered to some degree AND doesn\'t have a broken AF motor out of the box; It will never focus as well as a Canikon lens; Doesn\'t work well with outer focusing points, making them useless.

I've been using this lens for 5 months and I can tell clearly that the lens sucks on this aspect

Everything that's told about this lens is right and delivered; except two things. 1. OS - no OS as Sigma claims. I've been using this lens for 5 months and I can tell clearly that the lens sucks on this aspect. 2.

Excellent lens

This lens performs like my 50mm 1.8/f prime lens, but with the ability for zoom in and out. This is exactly what I needed and I'm so glad that a friend recommended it to me. It's so clear, has excellent bokeh, and feels very solid. I never leave home without it.

Not a very good choice at all for low light

The out door pics were ok but the indoor low light pics were horrible at best every face had orange tint in them & poor low light in back/sides of the subject almost blacked out.I would never recommend this lens to anyone !

Awwesome Lens

I really like this glass, its big and beautiful! really smooth hsm motor. Really smooth zoom ring, very solid construction! Lens hood stays intact really good, clicks in nicely! I would recomend this to anyone who has a d7100 or lower in the dx range.

A versatile lens

I bought my Canon EOS 7D as a body-only, eschewing the standard kit lens for my own collection of glass. For a long time, the lens that was almost permanently glued to the camera was a 35mm f/2 prime, with a 28-300mm as a typical walkabout alternative.

Consistent Output; Durable; Quick Focus; Sharp Focus; Strong Construction
