I ordered this item as used from ViMoo, item had a sign of external damage which was not shown in photos it was promoted as fully working, but sometimes lens started shaking inside, making strange noise and introduced very big...

This lens is amazing. Cost me my wallet but definately impressed me. Once you take this thing outta the box you'll be throw by the quality compared to other brands. You can actually put standard UV filters on and don't require the proprietary filters sony has on the 16mm and 18-55mm.

This is a great multi-purpose lens. I wouldn't say it's a must have but it is certainly cover a wide range of focal length, allowing a photographer (namely me) to capture anything from landscape to portrait to macro without a need of switching lenses.

Took this lens on nature trip to photograph whales. The time it took to focus, if ever, was abysmally slow and amazing moments were completely lost. It's just not up to par with what is promised. Very disappointed.
