I am glad to see that an electronics giant such as Sony is still investing into what are niche products, with new designs at price points which make them a nice proposition. As such, Sony is able to provide a complete high-resolution playback solution from the DAP to headphones and IEMs.

. And after that review, I had a handful of you asking about the differences between it and the Campfire Audio Solaris. Both IEMs go for $1499, so it made complete sense to ask such a question. I didn’t want to respond to the questions with a simple, general answer.

Both are excellent, almost beyond comparison. Choosing between them really comes down to budgetary constraints. are almost half as expensive, which makes them the more pragmatic choice for someone who’s looking for a professional instrument.
