I already own the 2H and was hoping to add a larger purifier to the living room. was pretty disappointed to find the automation features are completely unavailable on the pro. considering how much more expensive it is and that its called the "pro" its pretty misleading to find it cant perform the best feature. The automation allows you to have the filter ramp up at a desired pm2 then drop back to normal as the air quality gets better. This apparently was disabled on all purifiers outside China for reasons unknown. Pretty frustrating, will likely return. This feature works perfectly on the 2H however.

Purchased this after doing a lot of research on air purifiers and the general consensus online was that the Mi Air Purifier Pro was a very good purifier at an excellent price. I live in an apartment with no externally ducted rangehood - just a recirculating one which is pretty hopeless. We get really strong food and cooking odors that linger for ages (until the morning when you can open windows and ventilate). They get into the furniture, drapes and clothes. Super annoying. Bought this when it was on 30% discount. To be honest, if you live in NZ, I dont think air purifier is necessary but bought it anyway due to all this Covid19 non-sense. Very fancy looking, seems to do its work. When I cook it would go up to 100 and quickly sucks in down back to 0 within less than a minute.
