Agree almost completely with MAD USA REVIEW, albeit have only limited experience with Canon and Hasselblad cameras and have been using the D810 with the Zeiss Milvus 100mm mostly sporadically.

Do not be dissuaded from purchasing this gem. There is a learning curve with a manual lens, but the results are superb. Sharper than glass. Wonderful for close up/macro work , but of course requires a tripod in those settings.

Coupled with the Nikon D810 this lens provides medium format like performance. The details, contrast, colors, are superb! Some color fringing but minimal at worst.
