I use this for beautiful shots for my YouTube tech channel. It is a well built and great piece of glass. I use it with a Canon 80D and this is my goto lens.

This lens is not to be confused with the 24 -105 f/4 'L' lens, which costs about twice as much. The STM lens has a smaller aperture at the longer focal length (f/5.6 compared with f/4 for the 'L' lens) which makes it not so good for action photography where a fast shutter speed is required.

I bought this for video work in my online business and it has met or exceeded every expectation. Very fast focus and very quiet. I was looking at the EF 24-105 4.0L lens but though the wait was hard I'm very glad I held off.
