Excellent walkaround lens

Excellent walk around lens for those that dont' go the 'L' glass route. Great flexible focal range, and takes nice shots. It's on my camera most of the time. I did have an opportunity to take some shots with an L glass lens and compare it with this lens, and there was not a huge difference, but then...

Consistent Output; Fast / accurate auto-focus; good focal range; Nice Bokeh

Slightly loose end barrel

This lens stays on camera 95% of time

This lens gives great range from 28 to 135 mm. So it is a general everyday lens that get use 90% or more. It also has fast AF and well constructed. Although not an L lens, the price is very competitive compare to other similar products.

Great all around lens!

It is my go to lens that I keep on the camera all the time. Great for close up shot but will zoom in great for the shot across the way as well. The only drawback in my opinion is it is a heavy lens but I think it has to do with the great construction of the lens (not a cheap plastic lens in anyway).

Canon EF 28-135mm lens

Though not the image quality desired for PRO use, this lens is very capable for the hobbyist. Close work with average to good lighting has resulted in some clear quality images with my Canon 40D. I was not as pleased with the far range as the focus seems soft.

Consistent Output; Easily Interchangeable; Good amature lens; Lightweight; Quick Focus

Not weatherdust sealed; Soft focus at far range

A really versatile lens.

I bought this lens to go with a Canon camera body, as it is more versatile than the standard lens. It was a little bit heavier than I expected, but this actually gives it a feeling of being robust and you soon get used to the weight.

Clear instructions; Rugged; Nice Features and Settings; Great Resolution; Easy To Use

Heavier than expected

Great lens and honestly rated

I use this lens for portraits in interior spaces. Focus is sharp and stable. I am able to use this in low light and still get great results. I love the range and its not too heavy to keep with me at all times.

Like This Lens

Not a lens expert, but this lens lets me get close from far away and wide when I want to be wide, like for landscapes. Especially like the anti-shake and auto-focus capability. Works seamlessly with the EOS 60D. Sharp, clean, beautiful pix.

Anti-shake - Auto focus - Landscape to portraits in one lens - Auto focus is very quick
