I wanted to like this camera, having researched it to death including on-line videos by a couple of camera enthusiasts. It is extremely well made and for its size amazingly functional. I wanted it for travel convenience, rather than having to strap on my years-old Fuji X100.

Ok, we have phones and iPads etc, but this is a camera and it does have more functions. How well it will perform for the money really depends on how much you want to explore and use those functions. I bought a hard case to protect this, a large storage disk or two and then off we go.

HUGELY DISAPPOINTED with this camera. The pictures are not as sharp as they should be, and the photo quality is poor as well. Regretting purchasing it. Has watched and read various reviews before buying it, but now I think Canon's quality has greatly reduced, or I received a defective piece.

It has a decent number of options and effects. You can actually get a shot of the moon with this thing! Good focus and stabilization when zoomed in.

I bought for my 12 year old son who really enjoys filming and the results from the camera are stunning! It has been one of the best purchases I have made as, my son no longer sits on his computer all day!!

I purchased this camera for a trip to Europe this coming April, so I've only used it a little to familiarize myself with the features. So far it has worked well and seems to be able to do all I will need to do.

Okay I must say that when I got this camera I was frustrated cause I was having problems with hooking up a USB to my computer to get my photos off. I hooked up the website to send my photos to the Canon website that is offered through Wifi.

The camera was everything the ad says it was, arrived ahead of schedule, was very easy to set-up, easy to operate! Cannot talk about the wifi haven't set up that feature. Awesome camera! Have purchased from beach camera before never disappointed!
