While it is possible to straighten lines and scew/distort images in software to get a desired result, most people are missing the main point of these...

Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II - Review / Lens Test

The Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II is the 2nd incarnation of Canon's tilt-shift wide-angle lens. We will elaborate on the tilt-shift (thus TS) function in more detail later on but for starters - the tilt aspect refers to the focus plane which is normally co-planar to the sensor plane.

My new (unexpected) Go-To Lens

Originally bought for the tilt novelty with only a marginal awareness of the shift attributes, this is now my favorite lens that I use to capture incredible distortion-free panoramas. I typically shoot landscapes and real estate, and this lens offers a range of view beyond anything I've seen.

A superb lens for architectural

Any tilt and shift lens takes a bit of getting used to. This is no different. Put in a bit of effort learning how to get the best out of it and it will reward you with images you could not get with a standard lens. Sharp and a big step up from the Mark I version in optical quality and ease of use.

Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II

I'm just amazed the quality of images obtained with this lens! Sharp as a razor, from the center to the extreme corners, even at open aperture. Perfect for the artistic and architectural photography, TS-E 24/L3.5 II simply the best 24mm lens.

Great Lens

This lens is great if you have a more advanced knowledge in photography. It gives precise colors and exceptional picture quality. This lens is a little pricey but worth it. This lens also gives the photographer the advantage to tilt the lens which is a huge advantage.

Great Lens for architectural photos

This lens is well built and it produces great sharp images. it works great for architectural applications but It doesn't have auto focus; it can be used for selected applications in fast pace environments like weddings.
