I recently upgraded to a Sony Mirrorless setup for professional work and this was the only lens I decided to invest in from the jump. Yeah, it's an international version but I've used international copies of lenses with my Nikon rig for years without any issue so I decided to make the same gamble...

Personally I enjoy using this kit lens - out there, in real life, away from charts and all that, the IQ is actually very good for a kit lens and performs very well on the a7m2 and a6000.

Good lens with nice image quality, albeit you're often at F5.6 due to the variable aperture. Definitely worth the price, though.

The lens was of great value, specifications that were perfect for my day-to-day use as I'm a beginner at photography. I specifically spend my time doing vlogs and focusing on my latte art.

Easily Interchangeable; Fast / accurate auto-focus; Strong Construction

Surprisingly like the 24-70mm it is "Dust and moisture-resistant design". Nice touch for a value lens. The lens barely extends at all during its full zoom sweep. Not internal zoom technically, but as close as you could get. Small and light. Silent focus.

A Great choice when you don't want to lug around a bunch of lenses... Very light weight, good image quality, does need adequate lighting when zoomed in. This is a good inexpensive carry around lens for when your not packing all your primes/telephoto/Wide angle lenses.
