Great lens for wide shots, stars.

I am satisfied by this lens. It creates great wide shots to be able to capture the whole room. The best part is it does not get odd light glares like my Sigma 18-250 mm lens. It is good lens for close ups, wide shots, shooting the stars at night, and landscapes.

In love with this lens!

I bought this for night sky photography but I've also been using it for landscape shots. This is my first wide angle lens and I was worried about getting this one over some other lenses I was looking at but I'm soooo glad I picked this one up.

Best Fast Ultra Wide Angle Lens for APC sensor

I have been using this lens for the past 5 months and i must say its really really good lens. If you really miss the wide angle and love to do landscapes astro and timelapses photography then this is the lens . Pros. 1. Constant wide aperture of 2.8 ranging from 11-16mm focal. 2.

Great lens for landscapes; fair price, fast delivery

It is noted for its good processability. I bought it to take pictures from landscapes and northern lights and i don't regret it. The Lens works fine, and has a fabulous focal length. The autofocus is not as fast as other lenses like the SONY SAL1650 2.8 SSM but in most cases it doesn't matter.

Five Stars

Great lens, I use it mostly for astrophotography and landscape. Good price for a versatile and sharp lens.

King of Panoramic Photography

This lens is great for shooting a wide area and capturing a lot of detail in close quarter shooting. Be careful when shooting with the built in flash on canon cameras as the lower half of your photos will create shadows due to the lens blocking the light of the flash and the viewing angle being wide...

Best wide angle for APS-C cameras

Crop sensor DSLR users cannot do better than the the Tokina AT-X 116 Pro DX-II 11-16mm lens. It was one of my favorite lenses when I was shooting am APS-C Nikon body and I was sorry to see it go when I made the jump to full frame.

Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX II Lens Review

The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX II Lens' predecessor, the version I model, was the first Tokina lens I used in the field and I found that experience to be a positive one. The major version II changes are found in the Nikon mount version of this lens.

Professional glass

I use this lens for shooting the Milky Way, landscapes, and to give a slightly different perspective. To say I am in love with this lens is an understatement. However, shooting with an ultra wide angle lens is different and takes a little learning.

The Tokina 11-16mm for Canon, Nikon and Sony APS-C bodies is quite heavy for a telephoto in this range, and also on the expensive side. It has a constant maximum aperture throughout its entire zoom range, so users can shoot at f/2.8 even at 16mm, allowing for fast shutter speeds in low light and a...
