Awesome Lens from Tokina

I actually went by the Review that Mr. Devesh Uba had posted and since I was looking for a Wide Angle Lens, I decided to go with this based on some other reviews as well. I got it today and was very happy with the Lens. Not used it much but I am sure it will serve my purpose in times to come.

I was a little concerned about buying my first non-Canon lens. But I had less money than I was concerned about not having a fancy red-ring. This lens is awesome. Great picture quality, fast-focus and... more great picture quality.

A Perfect Online Shopping Experience

The Tokina 11-16mm DXII is a superb lens with solid construction. It is extremely fast at F/2.8 and therefore works well in low light conditions. The photos are sharp and clear. Definitely a good buy.

Durable; Fast / accurate auto-focus; Strong Construction

The Tokina 11-16mm for Canon, Nikon and Sony APS-C bodies is quite heavy for a telephoto in this range, and also on the expensive side. It has a constant maximum aperture throughout its entire zoom range, so users can shoot at f/2.8 even at 16mm, allowing for fast shutter speeds in low light and a...

Professional glass

I use this lens for shooting the Milky Way, landscapes, and to give a slightly different perspective. To say I am in love with this lens is an understatement. However, shooting with an ultra wide angle lens is different and takes a little learning.

Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX II Lens Review

The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX II Lens' predecessor, the version I model, was the first Tokina lens I used in the field and I found that experience to be a positive one. The major version II changes are found in the Nikon mount version of this lens.

Best wide angle for APS-C cameras

Crop sensor DSLR users cannot do better than the the Tokina AT-X 116 Pro DX-II 11-16mm lens. It was one of my favorite lenses when I was shooting am APS-C Nikon body and I was sorry to see it go when I made the jump to full frame.
