impossible à ce jour de le faire fonctionner comme le précédent Scanjet G3110 qu'il doit remplacer car le nouveau ne contient pas le logiciel HP Photosmart que j'avais avec l'ancien scanner et qui permettait de faire des numérisations de négatifs et de diapositives.

This scanner software is reasonably easy to install. It is also reasonably easy to control the file size of the scan. Also the low resolution scanning of pictures shows a good quality result.

Hoping that this HP product lasts longer than their usual 13 month lifespan - conking out just after the guarantee expires like their printers - I have a pile of them!

well first of all -it setup great and it wouldn't scan at the first try,until i plugged in the little white plug that was already attached and then, it worked fine and it scans beautifully ,then and ever since,thanks HP for a wonderful product.

This was a plug and play unit. No prob. getting going after loading the driver CD. I
use this for general home use. Not fast but works good for what I use it fore .

I decided to cut my losses, threw the brand new HP G3110 scanner away, and bought a different brand scanner. The new scanner installed in 10 min and works flawlessly :)

Relatively cheap; Friendly service (it's not the service tech's fault that they have to provide support for an inferior product

Although the scanner was supposed to work with Win 7; after spending a total of 8 hrs with tech support (on the phone and on chat); they still could not get it working

Good product ... good price. Works great ... highly recommend.
