Okay let's get this straight, this lens is spot on, it's quality and build is second to none, the optics are faultless and coupled with a good camera and a user with a bit of know how then it won't fail you and will give you the results you are after time and time again ...

I previously owned this lens when using Olympus and then switched systems only to return and purchase it again. This focal length is so useful and at a constant f/2.8. It also works very well for portraits.

I pre-ordered this lens with convertor when released. I only occasionally use the converter. Even though I've scratched it (a bit), I have never regretted the purchase for a moment. . Want a close shot of something small and timid This is as good as it gets. .

This lens is why I packed my OM4T up, put in on the shelf and finally went M4/3. Olympus finally gave me a reason to switch. The reason I used my OM4 for so long was portability. The 40-150 on my M-1 returned the Olympus advantage to digital. This lens is best with the 1.4 teleconverter.
