I had my LiDE 220 less than a year. It's a low budget scanner. It's compact and easy use when it's working. Lately I had hard time to connect. I tried several different cables. Today I found out that the mini USB port broken off and fell into the case.

Not even a year old, very little use. I scanned a total of around 50 pages over the past few months. Now it gives me a message that I need to unlock the scanning unit. Tried the troubleshooting steps, driver re-install, etc. Nothing works. Bought directly from Amazon. Very disappointed.

This scanner has reviews for good quality for scanning artwork from various online sources but it isn't so. Especially if you want to print the artwork. It might be ok to scan a sketch or a painting to post online but when it comes to printing I'm not sure why it is reviewed as a good scanner....

The scanner itself if great and easy-to-use. However, it's too bad that the manuals that come packaged don't help too much with how to set it up and use it. Luckily I was able to figure out that I put paper in and press a button!

With the apparent lack of availability of a bulk photo scanner this seems to be a reasonable alternative. Easy to set set up and to use, it produces good quality results. The front buttons make the process pretty quick. Pleased with it.

This scanner is not native for Windows 10. It does not come with the appropriate drivers built in, who knows why. It's not like Windows 10 hasn't been around for almost 2 years now, and this is the very latest version of the otherwise astoundingly great CanoScan scanner.

I used this scanner to scan over 8500 photos for a family project, the photos themselves all turned out great. The scanner held up amazingly, this is a great buy!

Saving & filing process complicated

IT works very well. Just needs software for Chrome and Android. Existing windows software is good. This is for the modern paperless office. So award yourself green points for buying. It does not print. However, it has very good resolution.

I got this to scan some documents in. And it was very quick and easy to setup. It is like the 4 time I have gotten one of these. The one I had I shipped to another address so I needed to get one to scan documents.
