It's every bit as easy to use as I had imagined the perfect desktop scanner ought to be. And it's also very fast in scanning in color. For the reasonable price, you can't go wrong with this scanner!

This scanner has reviews for good quality for scanning artwork from various online sources but it isn't so. Especially if you want to print the artwork. It might be ok to scan a sketch or a painting to post online but when it comes to printing I'm not sure why it is reviewed as a good scanner....

The scanner itself if great and easy-to-use. However, it's too bad that the manuals that come packaged don't help too much with how to set it up and use it. Luckily I was able to figure out that I put paper in and press a button!

This is a flat bed scanner that's been used a lot since I bought it about 2 weeks ago. I've been scanning old family snapshots from the 1920s and 30's for hours on end. The pictures are clear and it's easy to use. There are a series of grouped icons on the lower right of your monitor above the time.

Haven't had a problem; Once in awhile you need to dust the flatbed; Old photos leave dust

Great product for the price

When you first get the scanner, there's a mechanical latch on the bottom of the scanner that locks the scanner head in place during shipping. Make sure you unlock it! I spent an hour scratching my head when setting it up and I was ready to call tech support before I figured it out.

Solid simple scanner that works well; I'm using it to digitize a couple thousand of my parent's old pictures, and the software allows you to scan as many photos as you can fit in the scanner at a time, and it automatically parses each photo into it's own file..; Saving me a TON of time

I used this scanner to scan over 8500 photos for a family project, the photos themselves all turned out great. The scanner held up amazingly, this is a great buy!

The set up was challenging because the enclosed paperwork was minimal. I went on-line and even there I could not figure out what this odd shaped plastic piece was used for. I called into customer service and they were very helpful and I was told it was a stand for vertical scanning.

It fufils it's purpose on campus. Light and slim means it takes up little space on the workstation and can be stored away with ease when not in use

I have just used my new Canon scanner to scan and send some tax documents. Works just as advertised. Very easy software to work with. Scans photos nicely. My previous Canon scanner outlived the driver updates.

Size, lightweight, simplicity, USB power source is nice; The price is right
