I have a Brother laser printer that I have owned since 2002 and it still rings like a bell. I am attracted to printers with scanners, but it simply isn't necessary for me to purchase one at this time. The CanoScan served my needs for price and usability.
So far working well on my 32bit windows 10 installation, even after reboot. installed the latest driver strait from the website, before plunging it in. I didna€?t even touch the included CD. Will update this if i hit the USB drop-out problems others have reported.
I bought a new printer and found out only after I purchased that it didn Advantages: The upright scanning is great for small home office spaces like mine, you can easily store the scanner away neatly and still use it fully.
This scanner is very easy to use. Especially useful are the buttons on the front that allow you to scan multi-page documents directly to PDF. It's relatively fast too.
The set up was challenging because the enclosed paperwork was minimal. I went on-line and even there I could not figure out what this odd shaped plastic piece was used for. I called into customer service and they were very helpful and I was told it was a stand for vertical scanning.
My son, who is a computer programmer, suggested ordering this scanner. I am very pleased with it! Easy to use!
It is so simple and easy to use. Very compatible and slots on my desktop neatly. Very pleased with the product
It fufils it's purpose on campus. Light and slim means it takes up little space on the workstation and can be stored away with ease when not in use
